YouTube is working on promotion of own resources of a global audience. This time the company initiatives aimed at promoting the video of the audience who do not speak English, which is currently most downloaded movies.
Today, YouTube announced the possibility of transferring videos to more than 300 world languages. "Audience YouTube globally is growing, but not all of them speak the main language group and not all speak English," - said YouTube product manager Jeff Chin.
YouTube has two types of translators: the first - this is the usual Google Translate, which allows translated subtitles and video description for 60 languages, and the second - is Google Translator Toolkit, which allows you to put the video itself. The latter operates under Video Manager, available in the administrative interface.
According to the latest statistics, the monthly audience of YouTube now reaches 800 million people, 70% of them live outside the United States, about 43 countries.
