Texas Instruments introduced a new IC-chips for wireless charging

Texas Instruments this week presented a new integrated chips for use in wireless chargers new generation. In Texas Instruments say the new IC-chips by about 60% smaller in size predecessors. In addition, the company introduced a power controller chip with a larger radius of up to 400% charge. TI bq51050B new chip is the industry's first chip, officially-compatible with Wireless Power Controller (WPC) 1.1 Qi, and is the first power receiver with direct device charging.

In addition, the company announced the first in its line of smart transmitter bq500410A, which is the first wireless transmitter power. First chip to embed in a cell phone to receive an electric charge, the other will become part of a wireless charger for the transmission of electricity without wires. The company said that to date the transfer wireless electricity transmitter and receiver must be located in the line of sight of each other. The new devices will not impose such strict requirements, and can be located in four further apart (about 7 cm).
