According to the IBM Dictionary of Computing, when used to describe disk storage capacity, a megabyte is 1000000 bytes in decimal notation but when the megabyte is used for real and virtual storage is 1048576 bytes is appropriate notation.

Google Chrome and Google Drive for iOS
Google has announced it has developed a version of its kind Google Chrome web browser and Google Drive for Apple's iPad and iPhone.
It will be available for free in App Store.
The Browser will support on iOS 4.3 and above.

Google Adds Calculator to search results
Google added a Calculator to search results. i.e when user type formula into search box, Google will spit out answer in new calculator and brought user results.
Calculator is displayed and now user can tap numbers, scientific functions like Sin,cos, Inverse Sin etc.,. to send it a equation.

Google announced that Kansas City will be first where the network would be deployed and in Missouri.
Over 1,100 communities applied to be the first recipient of the new technology.
In July 2012, Google announced pricing for GF where the service will offer 3 options.

Firefox OS for Smartphones
They are known for Open Source Browser named Mozilla Firefox now they are known for new project named Firefox OS.

Its an open source operating system which in development by Mozilla which aims to support HTML 5 apps written using Open Web technology rather than other API's.
The idea is essentially to have all user accessinle s/w running on mobile be wep applications which uses advanced HTML 5.

The Indians presented with a solar energy storage
Prototypes are made with the use of available production items that have been added for the correct original electronics work together (photo ACNSMM).
According to the developers, the world's first device that is directly integrated photovoltaic cell and the storage of electricity. New product aims to smooth out the unevenness in the development of solar energy. It can power consumers, even at night.
The transmitter, called Amrita Smart Indian scientists have created a center of nanoscience and molecular medicine ( ACNSMM ).
The general idea of the project is similar to the principle of the development of the Japanese in 2004 - fotokondensatorom, collecting the energy of sunlight. In Amrita Smart Panel are installed photovoltaic cells, which are under the supercapacitors.
One of the authors of the instrument, Shantikumar Nair (Shantikumar Nair), says : "The product can meet the needs of the house's electricity and is capable of storing energy for up to seven days. This can be especially useful in cloudy or rainy weather. "
Experienced panel Amrita Smart debuted at the conference on nanotechnology in solar energy systems and energy storage Nanosolar 2012 , held in late February in Kerala.
These devices can charge a laptop or a smartphone, after exposure to the sun during the entire four hours. The weight of such panels is about 200 grams.
Larger version of Amrita Smart in the future may be issued in the form of "solar shingles" , say the Indians. They will help to simplify the "solar powered" homes at the expense of the individual batteries.
Developers are hoping that the market will fall Amrita Smart panel for one or two years. "They will be manufactured using thin-film supercapacitors and carbon frame. We hope to start them all over the world throughout the year, "- said Dr. Nair.
India will build the world's largest system of taxi-robotics
